Bar Harbor artist Liddy Hubbell paints downeast Maine using bold gestural strokes and focused palettes. Hubbell earned Bachelors and Masters degrees in art and architecture from MIT. Her paintings use form and pattern to communicate principles of natural beauty and organization.

Much of my work develops from the natural beauty of Acadia National Park and the towns on Mount Desert Island in Maine.
